Global design project- case the designer challenge.

Even though I've been crazy busy lately, doesn't mean I don't get a chance to check out some of my favourite challenge blogs. And this weeks challenge from the GDP was a bit exciting. Out of all the designer blogs I follow (and surprisingly, there isn't a huge long list..... Too many emails) I've been following Brian king the longest. And this weeks challenge at GDP was to case Brian's recent card-
Card by Brian King
I love the simple design of Brian's card. It shows off the snow place characters really well.
I wish I had the ability to create simply, but it's just not in my nature. I'm even looking at my finished card, and adding new elements mentally...... Lol.
I've enjoyed making this weeks card. I've used the same stamp set as Brian- "snow place."
I am in love with the dress up quality that this set has, (I'm excited to tell you there's another "dress up" stamp and die set in the occasions catalog. Top of my list. :-) snow places cute characters can be used for all sorts of situations. Here's my card-

Isn't it cute? The "love" sentiment came from me wanting to play with a brand new stamp set that I got in the recent 20% off sale..."what's your type"
The "you" comes from one of the dies in the treat bag set.
The flowers are from "floral wings."

And here's some others in a similar theme. It doesn't have to be all cold and snow! (We have penguins in Australia- even Western Australia- where it's approx 42 degrees (Celsius) at the moment...... Hot!)

Over all it's a fun card to give to my honey. He's the best..... Love you babe! Xxx
Hope you enjoyed my entry into this weeks GDP challenge
