Slider reveal card

Pulling up the the hassle at the top reveals a hidden message- cool huh? (the pistachio pudding in the card is really intense- the lighting was bad... sorry!)

these are the colours I used- they are great for baby cards (especially when you wont know the sex of the baby yet!!) they are all Stampin' Up in colours- mostly from the 2014-2015 colour range- if you like them- get in quick they are retiring in June this year!! (and when in colours retire, the colours get sold out notoriously quickly!!!)

How to make a slider reveal card-
you need these sized pieces of card stock and DSP
make 2 slits 1" from the  sides of the DSP leaving a gap of 1" at the top and bottom.
Make 2 cuts from one edge of the whisper white piece. Leave 1.5 cm uncut at the top.
It doesn't matter how wide the strip is.
mine is 5.5 cm wide.
layer and glue these pieces together.
emboss if wished.
glue layered pieces to DSP
Weave the whisper white over the layered yardstick and DSP. It will look like this at the front.
...and this at the back!
stick the open edges of whisper white together with sticky tape
put dimensionals to the edge of the DSP to create a "track" for the whisper white to run against.
make a "pull"
glue layers together.

pull the whisper white piece up- you can stamp on it if you wish- or add another greeting.
all decorated!
I used the "something for baby stamp set, with the matching frame lit dies that are bundled in the annual catalog.
theres some super sweet images in that set- AND- joy of joys- no fussy cutting!!!
how cute are these baby socks??
gorgeous pram!!
sweet little ducks.

I really hope you enjoyed this tutorial! any questions- please feel free to comment! I love hearing from you!
I hope you are able to squeeze in some creative therapy!! have a great weekend!
